At our first meeting, we review any and all info about your client. We discuss style preferences, materials and set the tone for the project. Next, we create an outline of the areas needing tile and stone and begin the process of reviewing material options. It’s important to understand material properties (such as being heat-resistant or scratching easily) so that we can help you select products best suited for your client’s needs.
Once we have a thorough understanding of your project, we’ll begin selecting materials. We can assist you however you like at this stage, whether you want us to be hands-on or serve in more of a consultation role. You can take samples with you or bring your clients to our showroom where they can combine your favorite tile and stone with a variety of cabinet, flooring and appliance options for a complete picture. If you don't find what you're looking for in our slab yard, we can source materials from around the globe. We are happy to source these for you.
Next, we embark on the exciting process of turning your design into an actionable plan. We collect field measurements and final schematics in order to write up an estimate for final review. Once approved, we move forward with templating, fabrication and the final install. On the tile side, we will handle all logistics to get materials here.

Whether you choose your own materials, rely on us to do it or have your clients come into the showroom to select materials themselves, we are ready to help. During our first meeting, we will talk about project details, your needs and your client's vision. We will also discuss the project timeline and your expectations. By planning ahead, we can identify potential challenges and establish a workable timeline.
Our project manager will contact you to coordinate details for the slab templating stage. An accurate template is key to ensuring slabs will fit in the space perfectly. Before we can create the template, sinks and faucets must be delivered to either our showroom or the project site, and the final layout must be finalized. When it comes to installing tile, we can help find subcontractors or work with your preferred installer to ensure they have what they need for a flawless installation
Next, we place orders, get what you need and create the installation timeline. For slabs, we are happy to coordinate an installation schedule with the contractor to ensure that deadlines are met and the overall scope of the project is taken into consideration. We also account for any special project needs. Stop by our facility at any time to stock up on all of the setting materials you need to finish the project.
If you are embarking on a home improvement project, we are here to help. First, we will meet with you to hear about your vision and needs. Then, we put together a plan to make it happen. Guided by our insight and industry knowledge, we want to empower you to create a home you love.
Consultations can be scheduled on our Consultations page. Before the consultation, please email any finished plans or rough drawings. At the consultation, we will review anything you have prepared and discuss timeline expectations, project location, budget and who is doing the install (contractor, yourself or both). We like take this time to get to know you and your project.
Once we have a strong grasp of your vision, we’ll work with you to turn it into an actionable plan, considering both style and function. For those new to design and remodeling, this often starts with education. We want you to make the best choices for your space, so we review the different material properties and uses. We offer guidance on how to combine different types of stone and tile to achieve your desired results. We are happy to provide take-home samples and can arrange for a design expert to visit your space.
Once you have chosen all of the materials for your project, we will place tile and stone order and get your project added to our slab templating calendar. As the template date approaches, we will be in touch to confirm that cabinets or any other fixtures needed are in place. We’ll then visit your home to template the space, ensuring we have all of the correct specs for fabrication. Next, our fabrication team will get to work in the shop, cutting your countertops for a perfect fit. For tile installation, we are happy to recommend a subcontractor to help complete the project. The final step is seeing your vision come to life with the finished install. It typically takes two weeks from templating to installation, though that can be longer for multi-room large jobs.
